About me
(a thing or two what makes me, me)
This is my story
My background in Cognitive Science
Coding is cool, I get to build stuff. I always leaned more into being able to build things. In 2022, my first internship as a Jr. Software Developer redirected my mindset. Some things we build end up not being used by the people.
But, I wanted more.
Though I loved the ability to build things from scratch, I was greatly dissatisfied with just how there's a chance it won't be useful. I wanted to solve problems — ones that, once solved, improve lives and drive real value, both in convenience and revenue.
This thing called UX?
Graduating in Cognitive Science, I was exposed to multidisciplinary fields that could tie in everyday life things we interact with — how our built environment could organically evolve in conjunction with humanity. This is how I adjusted my focus towards UX.
Making it all happen.
I was able to leverage a lot of the skills and Human-Computer Interaction knowledge I had picked up during my degree that greatly expedited my journey of specializing UX Design and also join a UX bootcamp after graduating to get into my first UX job.
